PARKING

Parking is in the basement which is accessed via the driveway at the front of the building. There is one space per apartment.  The parking bays are generally the standard the 4.8m x 2.4m size and allocated based on the size of your vehicle.  Manoeuvring into them can sometime be tricky, so we have a vehicle turntable.  Maximum vehicle height is ........ (definitely no head space for top boxes). On first arrival the basement gate will open automatically using number plate recognition ( your vehicle registration number will be requested shortly prior to your check-in date). If you have more than one vehicle or an over height vehicle, parking is generally available opposite, at the Landmark Theatre / Tourist Information office.  You can either pay daily £(tbc) OR we can usually arrange a weekly parking permit there at a cost of £(40?).  There is one external parking space at the front of the property, which is strictly for deliveries / maintenance staff / guests with over height vehicles to unload. Please do NOT park in this space without prior permission.

Free EV Charging. All of the 5 parking bays now have access to EV charging.

Please bring your own charging cable with you. Due to the tight proximity of other cars it is best to remove cable as soon as your vehicle is charged.

Accessibility

Apartments 1, 2, 3 & 4 are single storey units and are generally accessible via the lift but in the event of evacuation, stairs will have to be negotiated.
Apartment 5 could possibly accommodate a guest on it's lower floor which is accessible via the lift but all the actual bedrooms are on the upper floor which can only be reach via stairs.

Dogs

Well behaved housetrained dogs are always welcome at The View. If requested in advance, we can usually provide additional equipment including bowls, beds and crates to save you having to pack everything. We are able to recommend local dog-sitters/doggy day care if required.

Children

Well children/infants are also welcome at The View.  Additional equipment  including cots and high chairs can be arranged if requested in advance.  APT3 only - for their safety, young children are NOT permitted in the hot tub and older ones must be supervised.

Payment & Cancellation policy for direct bookings as follows:-

10% deposit is payable at the time of booking this will be refunded if you cancel at least 30 days prior to your check-in date. 

The balance of 90% is payable one month prior to your check-in date. This 90% will be refund in full provided you cancel at least 14 days prior to your check-in date. 

In the event of cancellation with less than 14 days notice you will only be refunded any monies we can recover from reselling your dates.

Our cancellation policy is strict but in some circumstances we may allow you to transfer your dates.
