RESTAURANTS
PLEASE NOTE that many restaurants book up 2-4+ weeks in advance May-Sept so plan ahead if you will be dining out (especially if you are part of a large group) .
My picks within 5-10 mins walk........
Terrace Tapas - for casual but lovely dining. Great cocktails.

Antidote - Cosy boutique dining by a Michelin chef. Perfect for special occasions or just as a treat. Only a small number of tables and gets booked up fast.

S & P Fisheries - for lunches right on the harbour. Does an amazing seafood platter.
Has a small outdoor seating area but you can always order takeaway. https://www.sandpfish.co.uk/
Carlton hotel - Great food, good wine list, dog friendly, does a really good Sunday roast.

Wards - Nice menu (including a very good Sunday roast). Great for relaxed dining and drinks (with additional seating outside)

Giovanni & Lucas - A favourite with our guests. You might get a last minute table for weekday nights but they are usually booked about 2 weeks in advance for a Friday/Saturday.

The Hip @ No.8 - Very popular pub. Great food. Large outdoor seating area

Stacc - Love this place. Best desserts ever !! Happy hour cocktails. Amazing sandwiches. Great coffee
Dollys - virtually next door. Does a great all day breakfast and has a good lunch menu too.
The Landmark theatre (opposite) always great coffee and nice breakfast/lunch.
Adeles - Breakfast and lunch next to the harbour. Opens the earliest of all the local cafes.
Wetherspoons Admiral Collingwood - Serves food from 8am-10pm.
The Pier Tavern/Inn - In a good spot on the harbour. Has nice deck overlooking the Channel. Can’t see they have a website but I think their number is 01271 865516
+ Loads of takeaways, my usuals are Maddys, Lyn Bay and (when it's open) The Ilfracombe Fryer (nearest).
A slightly longer walk but worth it
The Lime Kiln - lovely dining area overlooking the harbour. Great for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks

The Thatched Inn pub - up hill there but downhill back. I like this pub especially in Winter (but also in Summer)
